My first Plant Fair of the year is this Friday - 22nd March. The first of three Specialist Plant Sales ran throughout the growing season, organised by The Generous Gardener series.
Open 10am - 2pm. There is a small charge on the gate and all profits go to charity. Address is... Charlton Farm, Pink Lane, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, SN16 9DS.
The Specialist Plant Sales exist to bring you the best plants from specialist growers in the area. There will be food and drink available on the day with smiles & chatter all round as gardeners & friends throughout the region catch-up after a soggy start to the year.
On the day you can expect to see myself & my pots, Kitchen Garden Plant Centre (herbs), Hardy's Plants (herb. perennials), The Gobbett Nursery (herb. perennials), Hillview Hardy Plants (hardy plants), Riverside Bulbs (bulbs),Tortworth Plants (the great Tim & Rebecca), Plants for Shade (shade-loving plants), Malcolm Allison (select hardy & half-hardy plants) and Chris Cooke (select hards & half-hardy plants).
Sarah's garden is just gorgeous and provides a superb testament as to what one can achieve with good planning and a dose of passion.
